Weighted Product Safety
Rovessa products may contain substantial weight.
Always use weighted products responsibly.
Do not place a weighted item over the face, mouth, nose or neck.
Stop using the product if it causes discomfort, breathing difficulty, restricted movement or distress.
The person using a weighted product should be able to move or remove it independently unless appropriate supervision is provided.
Children
Always follow the minimum-age and supervision instructions supplied with the specific product.
Not every Rovessa product necessarily has the same age suitability.
Do not use weighted products as bedding for babies or infants.
Young children should not use weighted products during unsupervised sleep.
Inspect Before Use
Stop using the product if:
The seams become damaged.
Weighted material or filling becomes accessible.
A zip, button or other component becomes loose.
The product becomes substantially damaged.
Heating
Only microwave products specifically identified as microwave-safe.
Always follow the heating instructions supplied with that product.
Never guess heating times based on another Rovessa product.
Do not exceed the recommended microwave time or power.
Check the temperature carefully before placing a heated product against the body.
Cooling and Freezing
Only place a product in the freezer if it is specifically identified as freezer-safe.
Follow the individual cooling instructions supplied with the product.
Cleaning
Cleaning requirements differ between products.
Some items may contain removable weighted inserts, while others may be spot-clean only.
Never immerse or machine wash a weighted insert unless the individual product instructions specifically permit it.
Allow the product to dry completely before use.
